The playground has today been inspected by Playdale who supplied and fitted the new playground equipment. The damaged parts have been replaced and all other parts checked and passed fit for use.

It is unclear at this stage whether the damage occurred in manufacturing or was an act of vandalism. The situation will be monitored closely.
